Stratum Title Management is Tasmania’s oldest and largest strata management company. Formed in 1989, we have managed bodies corporate and company titles across the state without a break ever since, and we continue to grow. Thirty-seven years in one industry in one state builds a depth of knowledge that cannot be shortcut: our staff know the Strata Titles Act 1998, they know how Tasmanian schemes actually run day to day, and there are very few problems they have not already seen.

Our team has a wide-range of experience in managing factory complexes, office buildings, residential apartment buildings and villa unit complexes, shopping centres, mixed-use residential and commercial, and holiday resorts.
What independence actually means here
STM receives no commissions. We accept no gifts or other benefits, and we enter into no financial arrangements with developers or builders to win business. What we recommend to a body corporate is not shaped by anyone else’s interests, because nobody else is paying us.
We manage more than 1,700 units across Tasmania: residential apartment buildings and villa unit complexes, factory and office complexes, shopping centres, mixed-use developments and holiday resorts. Every one of them is managed from our Hobart office. We manage schemes in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport.

Stratum Title Management (Tasmania) was founded in 1989 with the key purpose to provide quality administrative and secretarial services to bodies corporate and company titles across Tasmania with a focus on independence.
STM staff are fully conversant with the statutory requirements of the Strata Titles Act 1998 and amendments as they affect strata titles and body corporate matters. They know about the practical aspects of strata title ownership and the nature of problems that can, and do arise. The STM staff are available to assist our clients in all the day to day operations of their bodies corporate.
